Bringing SWE to Local High School Students

Automated Dynamics’ Program Manager, Anne Russo (right)

Anne Russo, Northeast Region Governor of SWE, recently led a SWENext presentation at The Academy of Holy Names in Albany, NY. The high school event helped to introduce students to education and career paths within STEM fields.

SWENext is an extension of The Society of Women Engineers offering “a way to become part of the SWE as a student through the age of 18.” The program encourages young women interested in exploring STEM fields and provides support for educators and parents. Russo, a Program Manager at Automated Dynamics, has maintained an active role in SWE throughout her career and was named Governor in 2016.
