Automated Dynamics is focused on designing and building advanced Automated Fiber Placement (AFP) equipment for composite R&D centers around the world. We develop Proof-Of-Concept composite structures to replace metal structures. We have installed more AFP equipment and systems, both thermoset and thermoplastic, in more R&D centers worldwide than any other equipment manufacturer in the world! You can find our equipment at:

Our state-of-the-art AFP technology and equipment is often featured in research projects and proudly used. Automated Dynamics has delivered over 75 AFP workcells to customers in more than 17 countries over the past 30 years.

In addition, Automated Dynamics has six in-house, production-ready automated workcells, both thermoset and thermoplastic, manufacturing high-performance composite structures every workday of the year. We offer full design or collaborative engineering services, material selection, tooling design, prototyping, test article fabrication, limited rate initial production (LRIP) as well as full volume production of composite structures. We are engaged in composite manufacturing for customers from Proof-of-Concept development work to final, finished production and assembly of composite structures.
